Conference last season.

What type of player might college hoops fans see once the 6-foot-7
Dragicevich becomes eligible? One he hopes is stronger, quicker and
more agile than he was his first two seasons in South Bend. One who
can be a better rebounder and a better defender, yet one who can still
stroke it from distance with equal accuracy and effectiveness.

“Hopefully they’ll see a more complete player than they saw at ND,”
Dragicevich said.

Just because Dragicevich has played his final game in a Notre Dame
uniform doesn’t necessarily mean he he’s played his final game at
Notre Dame. Brey and Donahue have talked of rekindling a hoops series
that was a regular when the teams were one-time Big East rivals.

Dragicevich chose Boston College knowing that he may one day have to
step back into Purcell Pavilion wearing the maroon and gold of the
Eagles.

“That wouldn’t be bad to come back there, see some good friends and
play ball one more time,” he said. “That would be a pretty special
thing.”
