The six American Idol finalists got a true taste of rock stardom performing with Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers crashed the AI party to promote the upcoming tour by the official Queen tribute group The Queen Extravaganza, which begins its North American road show on May 6 in Quebec, Canada. The 25-stop, well, extravaganza winds down on July 3 in Edmonton. Catch the members of The Queen Extravaganza tonight on American Idol. Also...a rejected page by an unknown artist submitted to Marvel Comics back in the Nineties features Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and Wolverine has been discovered by sci-fi blog io9. The page features the X-Men antihero lurking in the woods when he confronts the late singer standing in a defiant pose. Sadly, the wannabe comic book artist's idea was turned down flat.
