With the 2012 London Olympic Games now in full swing, UK performing rights organization PRS for Music (Performing Rights Society) conducted a survey of the top 20 best sporting songs and the world’s best Hurdlers, long, high and triple jumpers will be jumping for joy knowing Van Halen’s “Jump” was the highest on the list. TheRolling Stones’ “Start Me Up” won the silver, coming in second place, and the Jackie Wilson 60’s soul classic “Higher and Higher” took home the bronze, landing in third.
