    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">A few storms in south central Kansas this evening will move out of the area by sunset. Other storms will develop later tonight on a widely scattered basis. That will continue to be the case right through the holiday weekend. Dry most of the time interrupted by periods of showers and thunderstorms. No widespread severe weather is expected but the occasional storm could produce some quarter size hail and winds of 50-60 mph. High temperatures will be in the 70s on Friday. The rest of the weekend will find readings in the 80s over central and eastern Kansas with some 90s likely in the west.
