Jackie Richard shows some her scars Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Therapy Center of Ghent in Norfolk. Richard of Mobile, Ala., was diagnosed with sepsis, a blood infection that nearly killed her. Doctors amputated both hands and legs below the knee to save her life.
