  11. York County Food Bank Shifting its Focus; Preparing for Christmas

    Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone, the York County Food Bank is now shifting its focus to Christmas.&nbsp; By month&rsquo;s end, the organization expects to reach its typical November goal of 200,000 pounds of food distributed to its 130 distribution partners.&nbsp; In December that goal increases by at least 25,000 pounds.&nbsp; The food bank&rsquo;s executive director told FOX43 while donations have not decreased from last year, they have failed to increase.&nbsp; Unfortunately however, families in need have increased by 10% for a total of about 7,000 York County residents.
