  7. Review: Maggiano's Little Italy in Boca Raton

First impression: Maggiano's exterior, which resembles an Italian Villa with wrought iron balconies and tile roof, promises an experience beyond a typical chain restaurant, and it delivers. This is just what South Floridians need now — a value. Chef...

  13. Little Italy's loss: no Olive Garden

  15. Isabella's worth the return visits

There was another brick-oven pizza joint on the same corner spot in Little Italy where Isabella's is now. That place was good, but Isabella's, open now for 2 1/2 years, is better. I'm sorry I hadn't made it there sooner. The truth is that there's a good range of eating choices in Little Italy, from unpretentious family fare to high cuisine, and Isabella's occupies its own niche.

Families strolled in under flags of red, white and green. Workers from La Tavola stepped out into the drizzle for a better look. A quartet played Frank Sinatra's "Nancy (With the Laughing Face)." All of Little Italy seemed to have turned out yesterday...

  19. 'Bursting with pride' in Little Italy

    Sun reporter
Around the narrow streets of Baltimore's Little Italy yesterday, the O'Malley and Ehrlich placards were still hanging proudly in the windows of restaurants and Formstone rowhouses. But no one was talking about the men who duked it out in the race to...

  21. La Famiglia: A taste of Little Italy outside the neighborhood

Can a restaurant be a neighborhood place and also a fine-dining establishment? La Famiglia, the restaurant that replaced Brasserie Tatin, is trying to be both, as many upscale eating places in this economy are. For the most part, it succeeds.
