    The American Red Cross is providing temporary shelters, as well as food, water and emotional support to those affected by Wednesday night's storms. Temporary shelters were set up in Decatur, Bartholomew and Monroe Counties for those whose homes were damaged or destroyed.     Local, state and federal officials are conducting severe weather damage assessments in parts of Indiana damaged by severe storms earlier this month. Representatives from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are pulling together to gather data.   15. Tornadoes confirmed in Bedford, Bloomington, Greensburg

    Thursday, the National Weather Service in Indianapolis deployed storm damage survey teams to areas where tornadoes were reported Wednesday night. After assessing the damage, it was confirmed that a high-end EF-2 tornado hit Bedford, Indiana in Lawrence County. A tornado was also confirmed near Brownstown, Indiana in Jackson County. It's strength on the Enhanced Fujita Scale has not yet been determined. In Bloomington (Monroe County), it was confirmed that an EF1 tornado hit a mobile home park where six people were injured.

    The parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer continue plead with anyone who may have seen their 20-year-old daughter to come forward. Robert and Charlene Spierer have been in Bloomington, Indiana since Saturday searching for Lauren. Wednesday marks day six since she disappeared while walking home early Friday morning.
