It’s socially acceptable to walk around with your food, and if you’re a guy, you feel tough, manly, masculine, vaguely caveman-ish (alternately, ladies might feel more delicate and ladylike, especially if the pinky finger points up while you eat). It’s perfect for dipping into sauces, as long as you don’t double-dip.
