  1. Sara Evans Celebrating Anniversary at Bama Rising

    Sara Evans is one of the many country stars taking the stage tonight for <em>Bama Rising</em>, a benefit concert organized by country super-group Alabama to aid tornado relief in their home state.&nbsp;A Birmingham resident, Sara says she&rsquo;s proud to join her friends to help her hometown on a day that&rsquo;s extra special for Sara and her husband Jay Barker. <em>&ldquo;I am so proud of country music for coming together and doing this benefit concert because everybody&rsquo;s donating their time and it&rsquo;s just a busy time of year for everybody. It just warms my heart that this is taking place.&nbsp;It&rsquo;s on our anniversary and Jay and I both saying, &lsquo;We can&rsquo;t think of a better way to spend our anniversary than to be helping.&rsquo;&rdquo;</em> Alabama, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Kellie Pickler and Ashton Shepherd are among the artists joining Sara for the concert tonight at Birmingham&rsquo;s <em>BJCC Arena</em>.
