1. Craig Morgan's Daughter Robbed

Craig Morgan’s family recently received quite a scare! AOL reports that Craig was away on location filming his Outdoor Channel show, Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, when his home was invaded by an armed intruder. His wife kept him up-to-date on what was happening in real time over the phone while his teenage daughter locked herself in a bedroom with a pistol, just as her dad had taught her to do. The former military man has trained all five of his children how to responsibly handle firearms. Luckily, the suspect was apprehended by police before anyone was hurt. Between family matters, his TV show and touring, there’s not much time left in Craig’s schedule this year. “The only thing we haven’t done that we usually do is a trip to uh…Iraq or Afghanistan and we’re working on that for December or January. So, that’s about the only thing left we have to book this year. Staying busy with the TV show…things are good!” Craig just released “Good Ole Boy,” the first single from his next album, expected to release early next year.

  3. Miranda Lambert Working On New Album

Miranda Lambert is cutting new music, not only for her next album but for the debut of her all-girl trio Pistol Annies. Working on the follow-up to her Revolution album was a priority for Miranda, following her wedding to Blake Shelton late last month. “This last week I’ve been in the studio making my own new record then at the last day of that recording we added on Pistol Annies (laughs). So, it’s kinda been crazy, all over the map, creatively. But, it’s so good for me. You know, it’s been cool to have to balance the two and really focus just on…pretty much just music for the last…especially the last month.” Pistol Annies released their first single, “Hell on High Heels” last week in conjunction with their appearance at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville. You can download the song from <a href="http://www.pistolannies.com/">pistolannies.com.
