  13. Thunder skid continues, lose 4-2 to Tulsa

    Wichita (21-14-3) returned home for the first time in two weeks, but couldn't hold onto a third period lead and fell 4-2 to the Tulsa Oilers (11-24-3) on Friday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. Matt Robinson scored his first of the season since coming back to Wichita while Andrew Martens recorded two assists in the losing effort. Wichita leads the season-series 3-2-0 and will play the next two games in Tulsa. With the loss, Wichita has dropped its last three contests and will look to change things with its first trip this weekend to the BOK Center.

    Hitting the road for the seventh time in eight games, Wichita (22-14-3) got back on track with a 3-2 victory over Tulsa (11-25-3) Saturday night at the BOK Center. Matt Summers scored his sixth game-winning-goal of the season and helped the Thunder snap a three-game losing skid. Wichita moves back into second place with the victory and leads the season-series 4-2-0.

    Wichita (17-7-2) came back three separate times on Sunday afternoon and eventually would defeat the Fort Worth Brahmas (11-9-4) in a shootout by the final of 4-3 at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
