1. Another #1 For Florida Georgia Line

<span style="font-size: small;">Florida Georgia Line is a force to be reckon with, after they claimed their second consecutive #1 single with, “Get Your Shine On.” The track serves as the follow-up to their triple-Platinum debut single, “Cruise.” The duo admits they would not have their success without the fans, which they like to keep up with through Twitter. Well…Tyler Hubbard says Brian Kelley is better at it than him. “BK’s on it. He’s always on his game. He’s always—which is great because people love it. We actually respond and I’ll do it sometimes but BK is the one that usually messages people back and keeps everybody all excited on Twitter. If it weren’t for BK doing that, we obviously wouldn’t be as good at our social media as we are because I’d be slacking for sure.” Florida Georgia Line’s debut single, “Cruise,” scored them three nominations at the 2013 CMT Music Awards – Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year. The show will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 5th at 8PM Eastern on CMT and CMT.com.

The event will support the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and Keith will be joined by Hall of Fame member Vince Gill. Keith knows first-hand for important the show is for the organization. “The history and the weight of what it is that they’re maintaining and bringing forward and presenting to the public is vitally important. I mean, this town has only got tourism because of what’s in that hall ultimately. It’s keeping, for me, remembering the center of it all.” This year’s theme is Rebels and Renegades: the Outlaws are IN, and will feature performances by the night’s hosts, along with Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean, Rosanne Cash, Eric Church, Brantley Gilbert, Kid Rock, Kris Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver and Hank Williams, Jr. It will all go down tonight (4/16), at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
