1. Ravens wary of C.Johnson

Chris Johnson's underwhelming performance last Sunday has given critics plenty of ammunition, but the Ravens are expecting the Tennessee Titans running back who rushed for more than 2,000 yards in 2009 when they meet on Sunday. "We fully expect him to...

  3. Ravens say there's 'no such thing' as letdown vs. Titans

From the second they walked off the field after their 35-7 dismantling of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Ravens have said all the right things.

  5. Scouting report: Ravens at Titans

RAVENS RUN OFFENSE VS. TITANS RUN DEFENSE: The Titans worked out six defensive linemen Tuesday as injuries and ineffectiveness have taken a toll on a unit they hoped would be improved after several offseason additions. In their season-opening 16-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Titans allowed 163 rushing yards. The Jaguars' game-opening 11-play touchdown drive featured nine runs totaling 49 yards. Defensive ends Derrick Morgan and Jason Jones, who both missed the opener with knee injuries, are back, so that could help stabilize a run defense that finished 20th in the NFL last season. But after rushing for 170 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens feel that they can run the ball against anybody. An offensive line that didn't play together the entire preseason exceeded the most optimistic expectations last week, and the additions of left tackle Bryant McKinnie and fullback Vonta Leach paid immediate dividends in front ofRay Rice.

  7. Pre-snap read: Ravens-Titans

The Ravens were the talk of the NFL on Monday morning after they embarrassed their bitter rivals from Pittsburgh in a 35-7 win at M&T Bank Stadium the previous afternoon. In perhaps their most impressive performance <a href="http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-harbaugh-wins-over-ravens-fans-20110916,0,5344871.story" target="_blank">of the John Harbaugh era, the Ravens forced seven turnovers, sacked Ben Roethlisberger four times and rushed for 170 yards. Their punter even ran for a two-point conversion.

  11. Quick hits: Now that was a letdown

The Ravens were flying high this week after their 35-7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season opener. But they crashed down to earth with a thud in an all-around ugly loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. Here are my quick-hit thoughts after the Ravens didn’t resemble the team we saw a week ago and were outplayed on both sides of the ball in a 26-13 loss in Nashville:

  13. Palmer's play calls, Hasselbeck's heady play give Ravens fits

Between Chris Palmer's masterful play calls and Matt Hasselbeck's perfectly-timed throws, the Ravens found no safe haven at LP Field Sunday. A week after forcing seven turnovers, their defense was taken apart in a methodical, precise assault.

  15. Joe Flacco and his wide receivers not clicking

The addition of wide receivers Lee Evans and Torrey Smith presented quarterback Joe Flacco with two more weapons, and was supposed to make the Ravens more dynamic on offense. But after two weeks and one discouraging loss, the Ravens are already facing familiar questions about their downfield passing attack.

  19. Which flaw will continue to cost the Ravens in 2011?

The Ravens secured a flawless victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1, but a few potential weak spots were exposed by the Tennessee Titans as the Ravens experienced a road letdown in a 26-13 loss in Nashville.

  21. Five Things We Learned in the Ravens' 26-13 loss to the Titans

    1. Prior to Sunday, the Ravens were adamant that they weren't going to overlook the Titans. John Harbaugh said he felt "embarrassed" for any reporter who suggested as much, implying it was such an absurd premise, he wasn't even going to entertain the...

  23. Ravens must make fixes in three key areas

As far as Terrell Suggs was concerned, the Ravens' 26-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans at LP Field Sunday was neither humbling nor groundbreaking. In fact, the outspoken linebacker didn't feel that it revealed anything that shouldn't have already been obvious.
