<span style="font-size: small;">Kenny Chesney will rock the halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Redskins. It’s the big kickoff for the 122nd year for theSalvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, which Kenny says he’s thrilled to be a part of this year. “As we can see in our country today, everybody, a lot of people are in need. Even without what happened on the east coast. So I think that anybody that has been as blessed as I have been. I think that just being able to help and give back through music is the least you can do really so I’m incredibly excited to be a part of that.” Kenny’s performance actually marks the 16th year of the Thanksgiving partnership between the Cowboys and the Salvation Army. In that time, the Red Kettle Campaign has raised more than $1.5 billion. Last year alone it raised more than $147 million and assisted more than 30 million people. The OTAs are voluntary and several Ravens veterans traditionally have skipped them or at least gone to only one or two of the sessions. There will also be a group of players who aren’t ready to participate in the scaled-down workouts after sustaining injuries last year or had an offseason surgery.
