1. Facing 0-12 Colts brings back memories of the Ravens' 2007 loss to 0-13 Dolphins

The circumstances were slightly different.
The circumstances were slightly different. The 2007 Miami Dolphins were 0-13, not 0-12 like the Indianapolis Colts team that will be at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The Ravens were just 4-9 at the time and had dropped seven consecutive games. Today, they...

7. Billick wants new playoff re-seeding plan

With the Ravens facing the possibility of starting the playoffs on the road should they lose to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday -- the Pittsburgh Steelers would have to win their game Sunday, too -- the topic of playoff re-seeding is relevant. There’s a chance the Ravens could finish 11-5, which would still be the AFC’s third-best record, and start the playoffs on the road against the AFC West champs (Denver Broncos or Oakland Raiders).

9. Here is Brian Billick interviewing John Harbaugh

It’s always interesting and slightly awkward whenever Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is interviewed by his predecessor, Brian Billick, who now works for FOX Sports. I can’t help but wonder what they are really thinking.

13. Pre-snap read: Ravens vs. Colts

The Ravens have everything to play for Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium. They need to win to stay ahead of the streaking Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. The Indianapolis Colts? They’re playing to avoid infamy. That shouldn’t be understated, though it’s also hard to ignore the wide gap in talent between these two teams. Here are five storylines to watch on Sunday as the 9-3 Ravens host the 0-12 Colts at The Bank:

17. Ravens news, notes and opinions on the draft

If the Ravens want Alabama linebacker Dont’a Hightower as much as some people believe that they do, I suspect their first call when Round One starts to unfold will be to the Detroit Lions, who hold the 23rd overall pick. The significance of that spot is that it’s one ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who reportedly covet Hightower. If the Ravens are convinced that Hightower is their guy and they are willing to pay the cost of moving up six spots, which would probably be a third or fourth-round pick, a deal shouldn’t be too hard to work out. Lions senior personnel executive James Harris is the former director of pro personnel for the Ravens and he remains very close with Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome. Lions coach Jim Schwartz also is a former Ravens staff member and he remains friendly with a couple of people at the Castle, including Newsome. So the Lions are definitely worth keeping an eye on and I’d have to imagine that there has already been some dialogue between the two teams.
