    <strong>RAVENS PASSING GAME:</strong> The big question coming in is which Ravens' offense will show up. If it's the one from their three other road games this season, the Ravens could be in trouble. Quarterback Joe Flacco has thrown for 566 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions on the road this year. He is 9-0 in his career against the Browns with 11 touchdowns and a 92.3 quarterback rating. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin dominated the Browns earlier this season, catching nine balls for 131 yards.

  4. Scouting report: Ravens vs. Browns

    <strong>RAVENS PASSING GAME:</strong> The Ravens weren't kidding when they talked about revving up their passing attack in quarterback Joe Flacco's fifth season. Flacco is currently second in the NFL in passing yards (913) and tied for fifth in touchdowns (six). Flacco has never lost to the Browns in eight tries and Thursday night he'll face a shaky secondary, looking to improve on a career 94.4 quarterback rating against Cleveland. Flacco used all of his weapons in a 31-30 victory over the New England Patriots last Sunday, completing passes to eight different guys. Mostly quiet this season, wide receiver Anquan Boldin has 300 yards receiving and three touchdowns in five career games versus the Browns. The Ravens' offensive line has exceeded early outside expectations, allowing five sacks in three games.

  5. Ravens news, notes and opinions

    The Ravens do a great job of moving beyond injuries, not fretting about them publicly and not using them as excuses. However, I&rsquo;d have to think that there is significant concern in the Castle about the health of Pro Bowl defensive tackle <strong>Haloti Ngata</strong>. Ngata is dealing with knee and shoulder injuries and Harbaugh was noncommittal Monday when asked about whether he could be held back a little to make sure he&rsquo;s healthy for the end of the season. And the reality is that Ngata at 50 percent is far better than anything else that the Ravens could put out there. However, after having nearly two full weeks to rest, Ngata was held without a tackle and wasn&rsquo;t much of a factor in the 25-15 victory last Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. It&rsquo;s true that Ngata&rsquo;s pressure on Browns quarterback <strong>Brandon Weeden</strong> led to <strong>Cary Williams&rsquo;</strong> third-quarter interception. It also should be mentioned that Ngata drew a ton of attention from Pro Bowl center <strong>Alex Mack</strong> and others. Still, it&rsquo;s alarming that Ngata didn&rsquo;t have a single tackle when the Browns ran the ball 27 times. Injuries really limited Ngata&rsquo;s production down the stretch last year and the already-struggling Ravens&rsquo; defense can&rsquo;t afford to have that happen again.
