  1. McCreery Sings Anthem for World Series Start

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">American Idol winner Scotty McCreery is set to perform the national anthem at Game One of the 2011 World Series tonight. The event is special for Scotty because it combines his two loves &ndash; music and baseball. At home, Scotty tries to stay calm while watching the games, but he has been known to raise his voice. &ldquo;I mean, if somebody does a play that&rsquo;s just nuts, then yeah, I might yell at the TV or something like you can actually hear me on the other side of the screen or something. But, for the most I just kind of lay low, have my chips and dip and watch the game.&rdquo; Game One of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers airs tonight on FOX beginning at 7:30PM Eastern. Scotty is a Red Sox fan, according to MLB.com. But, he&rsquo;s also been known to root for the Atlanta Braves.</span>
