  1. Nats complete sweep of Marlins

  3. Harper, Strasburg lead Nats to opening-day win over Marlins

All it took was two at-bats on his first opening day in the majors for Bryce Harper to hit two homers — and hear some “M-V-P!” chants. The Washington Nationals’ other recent No. 1 overall draft pick, Stephen Strasburg, did his...

  9. Indians snap Orioles' five-game winning streak

CLEVELAND – Orioles manager Buck Showalter, a master of detail, watches baseball games in pieces, individual snapshots, and not in one stream. So, to him, a play that might not have been made in the third or a blown call in the sixth is equally important as a late-inning gaffe that everyone notices.

  17. Taking a look at the Orioles' remaining free-agent possibilities

The word from around the Warehouse is that the Orioles aren’t done with their winter shopping. The club has made some significant moves, most notably making a run in the international market for starting pitching by acquiring Japanese pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada and Taiwanese pitcher Wei-Yin Chen. But executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette has made it clear the Orioles are still active in improving the club for 2012 and beyond. It’s unclear whether the best options will come via trade or through the free-agent market, which has cooled in recent days.
