The singer is an avid watcher of the sport, and he would even star in a film about it someday! &ldquo;I&rsquo;m a huge NASCAR fan. I mean, I was a big Dale Earnhardt fan. So that was a tragic day when that happened and I&rsquo;ve been a Dale, Jr. fan since then &lsquo;cause of the legacy. I like to drive fast. I like the whole concept of it. In fact, I&rsquo;d love to do a NASCAR movie one day. That would be a lot of fun. Play some drivers.     NASCAR driver Jeff Burton is one of several drivers who will participate in the Coca Cola Family Track Walk program this weekend. Fans and drivers will walk two miles around the race track prior to the Auto Club 400 race on Saturday. Jeff&rsquo;s looking forward to the event because he&rsquo;ll get to spend some quality time with fans. He says other than wanting to know his opinion on the most recent drama happening in the business, they also want to know specifics on each race track &ldquo;What do you have to do to win at California? Uh, what&rsquo;s your favorite race track? Those kinds of things. You know, you never know what kind of questions you&rsquo;re going to get.   7. Martina Is Dale Jr.'s Good Luck Charm

    Martina McBride sang the national anthem at a <em>NASCAR</em> race for the second time this season when she performed at the <em>Coke Zero 400</em> this past weekend in Daytona. Martina told <em>NASCAR.com</em> that one of her favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt Jr. once asked her for an autograph. She said she <em>&ldquo;still can&rsquo;t believe&rdquo;</em> it and said after the race, which he won, he told TV reporters that he kept her autograph in his care as a good luck charm.

  8. Dan Wheldon's Country Connections

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;"><span style="line-height: 150%;">INDY CAR DRIVER WITH COUNTRY CONNECTION DIES IN FIREY CRASH. </span><span style="line-height: 150%;">Indianapolis 500 </span><span style="line-height: 150%;">winner Dan Wheldon died on Sunday from injuries sustained in a major car crash that happened during the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Wheldon&rsquo;s car went airborne as the result of a 15-car pileup on Lap 13 of the race. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The 33-year-old British driver became part of the country music family when Curb Records and Big Machine Label group backed Wheldon with a car sponsorship during his successful run at the Indy 500 earlier this year. After his win, Wheldon made appearances on stage at the CMA Music Festival and during the 2011 CMT Music Awards. Sunday was his 134<sup>th</sup> career start.</span></span>

  9. Martina McBride Pushes Back Release

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Martina McBride</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;"> announced through her online blog that her record company has pushed back the release of her next album to October 18<sup>th</sup>. The project, which includes the single &ldquo;Teenage Daughters&rdquo; was originally scheduled to be out August 23<sup>rd</sup>. Martina said the October date makes more sense from a record-sales standpoint and that it&rsquo;ll be out just in time for fans to<em> &ldquo;get it and give it out as treats for Halloween!&rdquo; </em>Until then, Martina will travel the country performing several dates in support of the new CD. In addition, she&rsquo;ll perform a 60-minute pre-race concert before the 53<sup>rd</sup> annual <em>Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series</em> race on July 2<sup>nd</sup> at <em>Daytona International Speedway</em>.</span>
