1. Man Accidentally Shoots Himself While Bowling

<span style="font-size: small;">He really dropped the ball on this one! A Florida man accidentally shot himself in the leg while bowling. His bowling ball apparently came into contact with the loaded gun that was in his pocket. "I think he hit his leg on his back swing,” a fellow-bowler said. Witnesses originally thought the gunshot was a firecracker, but realized what had really happened after they saw the guy limp back to his seat, holding his leg. He was taken to the hospital and his injuries were not life-threatening.

  7. Aerosmith's Perry - Family Caught Up In Boston Bombing

<span style="font-size: small;">One of Boston’s most famous residents, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, says he was tempted to bail on the band’s tour of Australia because his kids were nearby when the bombs exploded close to the finished line of the Boston Marathon Monday. Thankfully, Perry’s children were unhurt, but several of their friends were injured. Speaking at a press conference in Sydney, Perry said, “It was really tough getting on the plane…because the news was just dribbling in. As they were putting the body counts on the TV we were in the waiting room to get on a plane and fly how many hundreds of thousands of miles away from where my kids are. I’m still digesting it.”

  9. Chesney Reflects On Concert Security After Boston Tragedy

<span style="font-size: small;">Kenny Chesney knows the importance of security at a large event and he says tragedies like the Boston Marathon bombing underscore that thought. “It’s always in the back of our mind, but we have as much security as we possibly can. We play a lot of these football stadiums, and it’s the same security that they would have at a sporting event. And I mean you can’t overdo it either. What is too much security, what is too little security? So it does make you think about it.” Kenny’s No Shoes Nation tour kicks off next month in Tampa, Florida. The unimaginable bombing in Boston claimed three lives and injured over a hundred others on April 15th.

  15. Ellen, Conan And Jimmy On Boston Marathon Bombings

<span style="font-size: small;">A nation is in shock and mourning after twin blasts at the Boston Marathon left at least three dead and 140 wounded, two of whom remain in critical condition. Talk-show hosts sounded off on the tragedy, as they sent well-wishes to the victims and their families while expressing deep outrage over the senseless horror. "First, I did wanna start by mentioning what an upsetting and sad day it has been," Conan O'Brien said in his opening monologue. "Boston is my home town, it's where I grew up, and it's where my family lives. So I just wanted to take a moment to say that, like everyone here, my thoughts and prayers are with the people of Boston and everybody who's been affected by this absolutely senseless act." On his show, Jimmy Kimmel described the grisly events as "disgusting" as he struggled to make sense of it all."Well, it was a terrible day. Very bad things happened today for no good reason, and our thoughts are with the people of Boston and everyone who is suffering as a result of the bombings at the marathon," he said."It's a disgusting thing. I don't understand it. But my job is to make you laugh and so I will try to do that. And I will probably fail. I'm failing already." And in an episode set to air, Ellen DeGeneres closed out her show with a heartfelt message to those affected by the tragedy. "Before we end the show today, I wanna tell everyone in Boston that we're thinking about you," she shared. "We're watching the news and it is incredibly sad. As we're taping, we're still learning new details. And, please know that you're in our hearts. Be kind to one another."

Difficult decision. Kinda emotional. Love all u guys at SNF – I’ll b watching!!!” Hill’s rendition of ‘Waiting All Day for Sunday Night’ was used kicked off every Sunday night NFL game.
