    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Taylor Swift&rsquo;s mother has always been a guiding light in the singer&rsquo;s life, and she made sure her mother knew that with a song she wrote titled &ldquo;The Best Day.&rdquo; The song describes the importance of a mother-daughter relationship which is a perfect fit for Mother&rsquo;s Day. &ldquo;&lsquo;The Best Day&rsquo; is a song that I wrote without telling my mom. I wrote it in the summertime, and I recorded it secretly too. I had this idea that I wanted to play it for her for Christmas. So, when I got the track I synced up all these home videos from when I was a little kid to go along with the song like a music video and played it for her on Christmas Eve. She was crying her eyes out.&rdquo; Fans still searching for a Mother&rsquo;s Day card can pick up one of Taylor&rsquo;s signatureAmerican Greetings cards, which feature personalized quotes from the singer.</span>
