  1. IRS not only agency in disarray

This is probably the tip of the iceberg ("Report finds disarray at IRS," May 15). Most government employees believe in large government where can you work and get a pension that you do not pay into and have health care that you do not pay into as well as paid vacation, sick time, lots of holidays and never have the department that you work in audited or held accountable for your performance because your union protects you.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A top White House adviser insisted Sunday that President Barack Obama learned the Internal Revenue Service had targeted tea party groups only "when it came out in the news" while Republicans continued to press the administration...

  5. Biased press doesn't deserve protection

The IRS is constitutionally protected in the execution of its duties to collect income taxes. Reporters are constitutionally protected when they report fairly and honestly. The First Amendment gives the right to print the truth, not to print biased...

  13. There Are Plenty of Scandals, Just Not These Ones

There’s a familiar template for the “scandals” that have so far “plagued” the Obama administration, in that they are all, for the most part, total bullshit and/or unfortunate events in the vast federal bureaucracy that have as much to do with the guy actually sitting in the Oval Office as how the busses are running on the north side of Chicago. We’ll start with the first two that were supposedly going to be “worse than Watergate.”

  15. GOP can't help overreaching on Obama scandals

Well, that didn't take long. Just as several genuine scandals cast the Obama administration in an unfavorable light, Republicans in Congress are already overreaching — with hyperbolic comparisons to Watergate, calls for special prosecutors,...

  21. IRS follows Obama's lead

Of course the president deserves some of the blame. Yes, it's extremely unlikely he ordered the IRS to discriminate against tea party, pro-life or Jewish groups opposed to his agenda (though why anyone should take his word for it is beyond me). And...
