7. Today's Buzz: Should U.S. arm Syrian rebels?

Last week the Obama administration announced that it would begin arming rebels in Syria’s civil war, two years after the conflict began. The decision came as the White House said it had conclusive evidence that Syria had used chemical weapons against its own people. President Obama had warned that chemical weapons use would be a “red line.” The White House said the U.S. would send small arms, ammunition and anti-tank weapons to the rebels, and coordinate its efforts with allies. Do you support the White House decision to get involved? Do you think U.S. help will make a difference? Do you worry about U.S. weapons going to al-Qaida affiliates in Syria? Talk about it!
