    Puget Sound Energy reported that as of 4 p.m. Friday, 239,000 customers remain without power. The utility reported that 150 crews are working in the field and 50 out-of-state crews will be arriving Friday evening to assist. It had been reported that about 300,000 people in the Puget Sound region were without electrical power Thursday night as a major ice storm coated roads, resulting in thousands of accidents tthat also crumpled trees and power lines.
