    <strong>Catherine Zeta-Jones</strong> has checked herself into a facility for treatment of bipolar disorder. <span>&quot;Catherine has proactively checked into a health care facility," her rep tells <em>People</em>. "Previously Catherine has said that she is committed to periodic care in order to manage her health in an optimum manner." A source tells the mag that the actress had always planned to return to treatment so doctors could help manage her medication. "There was no big problem," said a friend. "This was just a good time to do it. She is in between projects. This has always been part of the plan. She would manage her health. She is vigilant about it." Zeta-Jones first disclosed her condition back in 2011, when she checked into a Connecticut facility for treatment. </span>
