    Dakota Long manned a shovel Monday while Ryan Zerfoss broomed it full of gravel during what has become a yearly tradition in Shanksville. On Earth Day high school students there did their part by picking up trash and cleaning up the town. Monday afternoon the halls emptied onto the streets as the student council-led activity resulted in less trash.
