    The City of Indianapolis forecasts Sunday, July 1 as well as Monday July, 2 as Knozone Air Quality Action Days for ozone. The region’s air quality may become unhealthy for individuals who are sensitive to air pollutants and may be categorized as “orange” on the Air Quality Index (AQI). With the extremely high and dangerous temperatures, the City encourages everyone to refrain from being outdoors and try to stay inside when possible. A large drop in pollutants is predicted for Saturday in Central Indiana with the possibility of showers and thunderstorms scheduled to move across the state.
