  1. Beatles "Let it Be" Musical Eyes Summer Broadway Open

    <span style=&quot;font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The <strong>Beatles</strong>, who were first introduced to America in February 1964 with their appearance on the New York-based <strong><em>Ed Sullivan</em></strong><em> Show</em>, will return to Broadway (sort of) this summer. According to the <em>New York Times</em>, the Fab Four&rsquo;s musical <em>Let It Be</em> will begin previews at the St. James Theatre on July 6, with an opening night scheduled for July 24. The limited engagement is scheduled to end December 29.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Carrie Underwood has big plans for 2013, as she will star in NBC&rsquo;s live broadcast ofThe Sound of Music &ndash; based on the original Broadway musical.   11. Jerrod Niemann Films Video For Drinking Song

    Jerrod Niemann is making a splash on the country charts with his current single, &ldquo;One More Drinking Song.&rdquo; For Jerrod&rsquo;s fans, the song may sound a little familiar, as it is actually a re-release from his days as an aspiring country singer. Jerrod credits his buddy Chris Young for the idea to revive the song, and giving it another chance to go to the top of the charts. <em>&ldquo;I felt horrible, horrible&mdash;because I always wanted to release this song, and I didn&rsquo;t know if I&rsquo;d ever have a shot.&nbsp;And then when Chris Young came out and re-released &lsquo;Voices&rsquo;, you realize maybe it was a possibility.&nbsp;So luckily, the label was willing to give it another shot.&nbsp;And I&rsquo;m just glad it has the chance to be heard.&rdquo; </em>Jerrod recently filmed the video for &ldquo;One More Drinking Song&rdquo; at <em>The Stage</em> on Broadway in Nashville&rsquo;s famed honky-tonk district.&nbsp;His buddies Jake Owen, Lee Brice and new artist Tyler Farr appear in the video riding the <em>Nashville Pedal Tavern</em>, a man-powered bar on wheels.&nbsp;
