  5. Review: The not-so winning 'Goodwin Games'

"The Goodwin Games" is family comedy debuting as a late midseason replacement with only a seven-episode order. So even at Fox, a network not known for hit comedies, hopes are not high. On the other hand, there is a lot of talk these days of rethinking...

  7. TV review: 'The Goodwin Games' all gimmick

Don't get used to "The Goodwin Games," Fox's new comedy about three damaged siblings competing for their dad's $23 million estate. I don't think it will be around very long.

Don't get used to "The Goodwin Games," Fox's new comedy about three damaged siblings competing for their dad's $23 million estate. I don't think it will be around very long. It seems fairly obvious Fox isn't committed to the sitcom (7:30 p.m. CT May 20,...

  9. Guide to May 2013 TV premieres, finales, movies and specials

The May TV schedule is filled with finales, but don't think you won't have anything to watch. The Bluths are back! Yes, on May 26 Netflix with offer up all 15 episodes of the new "Arrested Development" with all the sitcom's original cast intact. Can't wait to learn what the Bluths have been up to, but they aren't the only attraction in May. Syfy will air the final five episodes of "Merlin" beginning May 3. ABC debuts a new crime drama, "Motive," and brings back "Rookie Blue," while A&E kicks off new seasons of "Longmire" and "The Glades." Over at Own, Tyler Perry gives the network its first scripted shows in "the Haves and Have Nots" and "Love Thy Neighbor." It's going to be a busy month, as you can see below. (All times are Central.)

  13. Community gathers at the Last Bookstore

The staircase is narrow and creaky, with a bookshelf made from a 100-year-old harp case teetering on the precipice of collapse at the top of the landing. Overflowing with open books, pages wildly askew and dangling from uneven shelves, the bookcase looks as if it's escaped from a vintage cartoon.
