Javier Colon Wins The Voice
![<span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Wednesday’s series finale of <em>NBC</em>’s <em>The Voice</em> featured performances by the four finalists and their musical idols. Cee Lo Green’s Vicci Martinez shared the stage with Train’s Pat Monahan to sing “Drops of Jupiter”. Javier Colon from Adam Levine’s team sang “Landslide” with the legendary Stevie Nicks. Christina Aguilera’s Beverly McClellan was joined on stage by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for his latest single, “Good Life”. Blake Shelton’s finalist Dia Frampton performed “The House That Built Me” on stage with Miranda Lambert. After watching Dia perform with his wife, Blake told her, <em>“You’re family to me now and I love you.” </em>Blake takes his mentorship with all the past members of his team very seriously. <em>“They have my phone number and they can call me anytime, you know? Because, I understand that, you know, it’s a lot of pressure that they’re under. My thing is lettin’ them know that they have a friend and they have somebody that will fight for them and be in their corner and pull strings and favors for them when they need it. You know, I think that’s as important in this business as anything.” </em>At the end, host Carson Daly announced that the top two finalists were Javier and Dia with only 2% of the votes between them. Carson revealed that Javier received the most votes and crowned him the first champion of <em>The Voice</em>.
