Chris Young knows this all too well, and has found his own formula for choosing which songs he releases to radio. “<em>Kinda the process of how I’ve always picked singles is, ya know, usually everybody has a couple in mind…of what they like. It...it’s just kinda, those songs kinda filter themselves out and we kinda figure out what people from radio like, and what, ya know, the different people on my promo staff, what they’re into? It’s kinda like everybody gets a consensus of what song we’re moving to</em>.” All that being said, when it came to his current single, “You,” it wasn’t in the running until the head of his record label stepped in.
