1. $50 Million For Hurricane Sandy Relief - Benefit Concert On iTunes

<span style="font-size: small;">Organizers of last week’s 12-12-12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert have yet to declare the total amount raised, but did announce the first $50 million is ready to be distributed to several organizations working to provide relief for those affected by the storm, the Los Angeles Times reports. The Robin Hood Foundation is in charge of funneling the money the concert raised through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, online auctions of memorabilia and phone and online donations. Also, twenty-four of the finest performances from last week’s 12-12-12 Superstorm Sandy relief concerts have been selected for inclusion on 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief, available now on iTunes, and on CD on January 22. The tracklist includes one song from Paul McCartney, two each from Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones, three apiece from The Who and Billy Joel and four from Roger Waters. At least $6.50 from each sale will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

  9. Star Studded Sandy Relief Concert Highlights

<span style="font-size: small;">The 12-12-12 benefit concert for the victims of Superstorm Sandy began with a brilliant four-song set by New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band and wrapped over five hours later with Paul McCartney being overrun by overkill on the smoke machines and pyrotechnics.. In between, veteran rockers including Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, the Rolling Stones, The Who and Billy Joel, along with Alicia Keys, Kanye West and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin treated the sold out crowd at New York’s Madison Square Garden to current and classic hits. 13. Little Steven Says "The Boss" Is In Good Shape

<span style="font-size: small;">Much has made about the marathon shows Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been playing during their European tour, and many wonder how at 62 years old, the Boss is able to maintain his Herculean strength and stamina. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, longtime guitarist Steven Van Zandt gave his theory on how Springsteen maintains the spring in his step, saying, “He’s in good shape by not doing drugs. He’s a living example of what happens when you never do drugs your whole life. Don’t do drugs. Don’t drink, eat right, go to the gym and you can rock & roll at 62, too. It isn’t rocket science. This is real old fashioned common sense.”
