  1. Robert Plant Knocked Down By Fan At Concert

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">At the very end of Robert Plant&lsquo;s concert at the Estadio Luna Park in Buenos Aires, Argentina, there was a brief scare when a fan rushed the stage and knocked him over. The Led Zeppelin singer did not appear to be injured. Plant, performing with the Sensational Space Shifters, had just finished up a show with a version of &lsquo;Rock and Roll&rsquo; and was thanking the crowd for coming out when he noticed that a young man in a sleeveless t-shirt had run onto the stage and heading straight for him. Thankfully, a member of the road crew intervened just as he reached Plant. The three bodies collided and Plant was knocked to the ground. &ldquo;Easy, easy,&rdquo; Plant told the roadie, presumably asking them to take it easy on the boy. Then, before leaving the stage, he turned to the crowd and thanked them &ldquo;for the fun,&rdquo; with a look on his face that suggested that, given what happened five seconds ago, maybe that wasn&rsquo;t the most appropriate word to use. <a href="http://ultimateclassicrock.com/robert-plant-knocked-down-by-fan-during-buenos-aires-concert/">Watch the video </a></span>

  2. Jimmy Turns The Page

    Anticipation is building for the worldwide theatrical premiere of the Led Zeppelin reunion concert film Celebration Day on October 17 and the release of the film on several audio and visual formats on November 19. But according to guitarist Jimmy Page, fans should not anticipate another reunion with himself, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. In the October 25 issue of Rolling Stone, Page says, &ldquo;I think if there had been any more concerts to be done, we&rsquo;d already be talking about them. So I don&rsquo;t see it,&rdquo; adding that Celebration Day &ldquo;is a testament to what we did in 2007. There it is.&rdquo;

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The 2012 Kennedy Center Honors recipients were announced yesterday and they include Led Zeppelin, Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy, late-night talk show staple David Letterman, Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman and ballerina Natalia Makarova. Led Zeppelin will be recogLenized as a band, along with members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones receiving individual honors as well.   8. Dark Shadows Premiere Turns Into Rock Concert

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">At the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd., what could have been just another Hollywood movie premiere turned into an all-star rock concert. Following the premiere of the new Tim Burton movie Dark Shadows, starring Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper (who make a cameo in the film) rocked the after-party and was joined onstage by Depp on guitar and Aerosmith members Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.     The complete tracklist for the upcoming Heart four-CD/One-DVD box set Strange Euphoria (due June 5) was made public yesterday and it includes one entire CD of Led Zeppelin covers. As one might expect, CDs 1-3 hold original versions of some of the band&rsquo;s biggest hits as well as rare demos and live tracks. Disc four (available only on the exclusive Amazon edition) contains Heart&rsquo;s versions of Led Zep classics &ldquo;Going to California,&rdquo; &ldquo;Battle of Evermore,&rdquo; &ldquo;What is and What Should Never Be,&rdquo; Immigrant Song&rdquo; and &ldquo;Misty Mountain Hop.&rdquo; Finally, the DVD includes the rare 1976 Dreamboat Annie television special.
