Scotty’s <em>Clear As Day</em> comes out on October 4<sup>th</sup> while Lauren’s debut, <em>Wildflower</em> hits stores one week later on October 11<sup>th</sup>. Scotty says his new CD will mix old and new country sounds together. Clear As Day will also include Scotty’s break-out single, “I Love You This Big”. “I can’t wait to get the new stuff out. If ‘I Love You This Big’ is doing really good, I can’t wait to get the new stuff. I’m really excited about that.” Lauren’s <em>Wildflower</em> album includes her single, “Like My Mother Does” and she says the project as a whole has a “flavor for everybody.” Scotty and Lauren are currently on the road with the American Idols Live! The 16-year-old gives us the scoop on how her crew found a country home in California to shoot the video, as well as how she did her own stunts. “I was sitting on this railing, like the front porch, like a deck area…and this guy was like below me in the bushes – like, you can’t see him in the shot, obviously – but he was there in case I fell, so that’s probably the funniest thing that happened that day. I never fell, but I came really close at one point. [laughs]” Lauren also reveals that the idea to have her mom at the end of the video was all hers! So, it was like songs we were familiar with.
