Scotty’s <em>Clear As Day</em> comes out on October 4<sup>th</sup> while Lauren’s debut, <em>Wildflower</em> hits stores one week later on October 11<sup>th</sup>. Scotty says his new CD will mix old and new country sounds together. Clear As Day will also include Scotty’s break-out single, “I Love You This Big”. “I can’t wait to get the new stuff out. If ‘I Love You This Big’ is doing really good, I can’t wait to get the new stuff. I’m really excited about that.” Lauren’s <em>Wildflower</em> album includes her single, “Like My Mother Does” and she says the project as a whole has a “flavor for everybody.” Scotty and Lauren are currently on the road with the American Idols Live! The 16-year-old gives us the scoop on how her crew found a country home in California to shoot the video, as well as how she did her own stunts. “I was sitting on this railing, like the front porch, like a deck area…and this guy was like below me in the bushes – like, you can’t see him in the shot, obviously – but he was there in case I fell, so that’s probably the funniest thing that happened that day. I never fell, but I came really close at one point. [laughs]” Lauren also reveals that the idea to have her mom at the end of the video was all hers! So, it was like songs we were familiar with. The special will also feature Martina McBride with <em>American Idol</em> runner-up Lauren Alaina, along with Josh Turner with <em>Idol</em> winner Scotty McCreery. Shania Twain will also make an appearance.
