The Associated Press reports that the show will take place on a stage just outside of Lambeau Field, home of the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.     More stars, late night jams and behind-the-scenes interviews have been added to the special, <em>CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock</em>. Concert performances added to the lineup include Brad Paisley and Alabama, The Band Perry, Alan Jackson with the Zac Brown Band and a late-night jam session featuring Luke Byran, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. Previously announced performers on the special include Rascal Flatts, Reba, Darius Rucker, Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and others. <em>CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock </em>airs Sunday, August 7<sup>th</sup> at 8PM Eastern on <em>ABC</em>.

  3. Trace Adkins Added to Special

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">Trace Adkins has been added to the three-hour television special, <em>CMA Music Festival: Country&rsquo;s Night to Rock</em>, airing August 14<sup>th</sup> on <em>ABC</em>. As previously announced, the concert special will feature performances by Jason Aldean featuring Kelly Clarkson, The Band Perry, Sara Evans, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley with Alabama, Rascal Flatts and many more. The special will also feature Martina McBride with <em>American Idol</em> runner-up Lauren Alaina, along with Josh Turner with <em>Idol</em> winner Scotty McCreery. Shania Twain will also make an appearance. Tickets for the 2012 <em>CMA Music Festival </em>will go on sale this Saturday.</span>

  4. CMT Award Show Performers Get Boost

    Country artists who performed on the 2011 <em>CMT Music Awards</em> last Wednesday have seen a boost in sales of their music. According to <em>SoundScan</em>, four of the top five country singles were performed on the <em>CMT Music Awards</em> with Jason Aldean&rsquo;s &ldquo;Dirt Road Anthem&rdquo; claiming the #1 spot. Toby Keith, debuted his new single, &ldquo;Made In America&rdquo; on the show and it landed at an impressive #24 on the country digital track chart its first week. Downloads for Keith Urban&rsquo;s &ldquo;Long Hot Summer,&rdquo; which he performed on the awards, jumped 806%. Kid Rock saw the biggest gain in physical-album sales with a 34% jump for his latest, <em>Born Free</em>.

  5. Shania and Taylor To Open CMT Awards

    Shania Twain is teaming up with Taylor Swift for a <em>CMT Music Awards</em> opening country fans will never forget!&nbsp;The stars are set to open the show with a <em>Thelma &amp; Louise</em>-inspired video parody, complete with Shania and Taylor riding in a sky-blue vintage convertible, just like the one in the 1991 film starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. <em>Glee</em> star Chord Overstreet makes a special appearance in the segment, which was shot Monday just south of Nashville.&nbsp;The segment will also feature host Kid Rock, Kenny Rogers, Donald Trump and comedian Ron White.
