    If &quot;Angel From Montgomery" was the only song John Prine ever wrote, his place in music history would be secure. Of course, he's written much, much more; the singer-songwriter and Illinois native's catalog is so deep, you'd be forgiven if you gave up trying to write music altogether. Prine's songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash (!), Bonnie Raitt, the Everly Brothers, John Denver, Kris Kristofferson, Carly Simon, Ben Harper and Joan Baez. (And any show with Josh Ritter as the <em>opener</em> is certainly one you don't want to miss.)
