  3. Rolling Stones Deny Retirement Rumors

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Realizing perhaps that in fact time is not on their side, the Rolling Stones will reportedly call it a career after a &ldquo;handful&rdquo; of UK and U.S. dates in 2013, capped with their first &ndash; and last &ndash; appearance at the legendary Glastonbury festival. Sources close to the band told UK&rsquo;s Mirror, &ldquo;All four members have agreed that next year is the right time to have one final hurrah and put on the gig of their lives.&rdquo; Plans to mark the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band&rsquo;s 50th anniversary have been shrouded in secrecy but the band insider says, &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a case of now or never, and obviously Glastonbury is the most important festival on the circuit. Everybody&rsquo;s incredibly excited&hellip;it&rsquo;s a final bow.&rdquo; However, late yesterday, UK newspaper the Guardian reached out to a band representative who told the paper not only is the story about retirement false, but as of right now the band has no plans to play Glastonbury. Doing the math, the combined ages of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood adds up to 272.</span>
