  1. Carrie Underwood Blown Away By ACM Nomination

    Carrie Underwood has already won 10 ACM Awards, and she is going into Sunday’s (4/7) big night with two nominations. One of those includes Album of the Year for Blown Away, which she feels like has been a defining moment in her career. “You know, I’m so proud of the tour and everything that went along with the Blown Away period in my career and my life. Awards aren’t everything of course ¿ but it’s definitely an honor to receive that nomination. You know, fingers crossed for the big night!” Carrie’s Blown Away tour has managed to sell-out all 22 tour dates so far this year. Tune in the 48th Annual ACM Awards, to see if Carrie takes home Album or Female Vocalist of the Year ¿ and also perform! The show airs Sunday at 8PM Eastern on CBS. RELATED After hosting the CMA Awards with her pal Brad Paisley, Carrie is interested to see how Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton put their spin on hosting duties, for the ACM Awards. “I think it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I don’t know of two other guys that could get together and doing something like that better than they could. So, I think it will be good. I expect a lot of shenanigans though.”

  2. Toby Keith's Daughter To Release Debut EP

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Superstar Toby Keith is not only a fan-favorite country singer &mdash; he&rsquo;s also a very proud dad. His daughter, Krystal Keith, is set to release her self-titled debut EP next month. Although the release of Keith&rsquo;s full-length album, &lsquo;Whiskey &amp; Lace&rsquo; is still a few months away, there has been such a tremendous response to her song &lsquo;Daddy Dance With Me&rsquo; that her record label, (co-owned by her dad), is advancing an EP a few months early. It will come out on April 16, just in time for Father&rsquo;s Day and summer weddings. Krystal Keith co-wrote the song with Mica Roberts and Sonya Rutledge. &ldquo;I wanted a song that honored my dad and was something special on my wedding day,&rdquo; she says. &ldquo;So I wrote and recorded it behind his back.&rdquo; Krystal Keith officially signed with Show Dog Universal in November 2012, but her potential has been well-known since her 2004 duet with her father at the CMA Awards. At the time, the elder Keith made her finish college first, which she did, earning a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Communication from Oklahoma University. A music video for &lsquo;Daddy Dance With Me&rsquo; will be released the same day as the EP.</span>

  3. Hunter Hayes Returns for Blown Away Round Two

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Hunter Hayes left his impression on Carrie Underwood as her opening act on the Blown Away tour this year. He told reporters backstage at the CMA Awards that he&rsquo;s flattered Carrie asked him to join her again for the second leg of the tour, kicking off next year. (Audio) &ldquo;The crowds have been really cool. They&rsquo;re showing up early. You know, and as an opening act it means a lot. And it&rsquo;s really cool to be like direct support, you know, be right in front of Carrie and to get that slot and for her to say that I&rsquo;m sort of worthy of that slot...it&rsquo;s awesome and it&rsquo;s really cool for her to say, &lsquo;Hey, come back out next year! We&rsquo;re doing some more.&rsquo;&rdquo; Hunter captured his first CMA win last week with the New Artist of the Year award.   4. Jake Owen Reveals Baby's Name

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Jake Owen revealed some exciting news while walking the red carpet at the CMA Awards. Jake and his wife Lacey told E! News they will be naming their daughter Pearl. Jake said the name was a tribute to his Godmother who passed away in July, and he calls her &ldquo;the angel of his life.&rdquo; Jake even has her name tattooed on the inside of his left wrist. Jake and Lacey are expecting Pearl&rsquo;s arrival sometime this month.</span>

  5. Brad And Carrie Talk CMA Awards

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are set to host the CMA Awards for the fifth time. The duo says their chemistry on stage reflects their real-life friendship. &ldquo;[Carrie] He&rsquo;s just a great guy. He&rsquo;s like the big brother I never had and we really do get along very well. We have kind of the same type of humor. [Brad] We have a great time. She is the best co-host I could ever ask for and really it&rsquo;s a great combination. You can tell I think that we have a good time with it.&rdquo; No country artist is safe when it comes to the jokes Brad and Carrie have become known for on the show. Carrie tells us there&rsquo;s lots of material to work with this year and there&rsquo;s no doubt the presidential election will come up a time or two.   6. Country Stars Celebrate Halloween

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">It&rsquo;s that time of year again where country artists enjoy the Halloween spirit. A lot of them will enjoy a night filled with family and friends. Taylor Swift has a big week ahead of her with the CMA Awards. She admits that she hasn&rsquo;t even had time to plan her Halloween festivities, but last year&rsquo;s celebration was quite memorable.&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know what I&rsquo;m going to be doing for Halloween. All I remember about Halloween last year is that it&rsquo;s when I bought my cat. She&rsquo;s a Halloween cat. I didn&rsquo;t really dress up for anything last year - I just went out and bought a kitten.&rdquo; Carrie Underwood loves Halloween &ndash; and it&rsquo;s one of her favorite reasons to have a celebration. She hopes to catch up with a few friends. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll actually probably stop by a Halloween party if I have a little time. Everybody dresses up and it&rsquo;s kind of a big deal. I have a couple of friends that Halloween is their favorite holiday as well. So it&rsquo;s fun to get silly.&rdquo; Luke Bryan is excited to spend Halloween with his sons, Bo and Tate. He&rsquo;s even looking forward to learning a little bit more about his neighbors &ndash; with the help of trick-or-treating. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re looking forward to trick-or-treating, and doing it in our neighborhood. You can find out a lot about your neighbors by what kind of candy they put out. So, well, like full bars of Snickers bars, that&rsquo;s what, and Reese&rsquo;s cups, [but] the old chocolate popcorn ball of stuff, that&rsquo;s no good either, like Dots &ndash; you get Dots one time of year and they pull your teeth.&rdquo;</span>

Luckily for Kimberly, she had the support from her band mates and brothers - Neil and Reid &ndash; to help her prepare for the gig! "Oh goodness, for me, I didn&rsquo;t know what a co-host was supposed to do. You see the pros like Carrie and Brad on the CMA Awards, and it&rsquo;s like well, &lsquo;You have some big shoes to fill.&rsquo; I actually practiced for my interviews because I had never done an interview before. You guys have a really tough job! Reid, Neil and I, they played Brad 1 and Brad 2 in the bus before I went out and did that and kind of threw me some curve balls. Brad and Carrie heard magic in the initial&nbsp;concept for the song,&nbsp;but knew it needed a little work to ensure that it&nbsp;wouldn&rsquo;t be&nbsp;what Brad called <em>&ldquo;the worst idea in the history of mankind.&rdquo;&nbsp;</em><em> </em><em>&ldquo;[<span style="font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif';">Brad</span>] I said, &lsquo;I promise this&rsquo;ll be great.
