    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">When it comes to Hayden Panettiere&rsquo;s Nashville character &ldquo;Juliette Barnes,&rdquo; one country singer denies a resemblance. In the February issue of Allure, Carrie Underwood tells the magazine, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m not like that at all.&rdquo; She thinks the show is &ldquo;juicy&rdquo; but adds, &ldquo;I hope not everybody thinks that everything goes down like that in Nashville, and we&rsquo;re evil.&rdquo; Hayden recently told reporters that Carrie&rsquo;s stage presence was an inspiration for her role. Carrie likes to live a normal life, which means even splitting household chores with her husband Mike Fisher. During her interview with Allure, Carrie also cleared up her view on gay marriage. The singer is &ldquo;in favor of acceptance&rdquo; and adds, &ldquo;It's my place to love and to show God's love to other people, even if they don't live a life like I live. So that's where I'm coming from." Carrie&rsquo;s issue of Allure hits newsstands on Tuesday (1/22).</span>

    A few of country music&rsquo;s leading ladies have made Men&rsquo;s Health magazine&rsquo;s list of The 100 Hottest Women of 2013. Jana Kramer ranks at #59, while Carrie Underwood came in at #24. Taylor Swift was the top country honoree, at the #12 spot. Katy Perry was crowned the hottest lady, while others on the list include, Shakira at # 67, Julianne Hough at #28 and Mila Kunis at #2.

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Carrie Underwood has big plans for 2013, as she will star in NBC&rsquo;s live broadcast ofThe Sound of Music &ndash; based on the original Broadway musical. The singer will play theJulie Andrews&rsquo; coveted role of &ldquo;Maria von Trapp.&rdquo; Chairman of NBC Entertainment, Bob Greenblatt, says the character &ldquo;was an iconic woman, who will now be played by an iconic artist.&rdquo; The three-hour event will air near the holidays in 2013. NBC is partnering with the producers of Smash, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, for the special. They will also produce the upcoming 85th Annual Academy Awards.</span>

The new single is climbing the charts, and is a song Carrie co-wrote with two Nashville hit makers - Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear. Carrie admits that Josh had the original idea that started with a simple title. &ldquo;He came in with the title &lsquo;Two Black Cadillacs&rsquo;. Didn&rsquo;t&rsquo; know what it was about. Wasn&rsquo;t really sure of the storyline, and had the loop that was just, you know, &lsquo;Two black cadillacs&rsquo;, and that was it! So we were like, &lsquo;Well, what could this be about? Why would you be in a cadillac? AH! Funeral! All three artists received the most nominations out of any country artists at the upcoming World Music Awards. Jason and Taylor received six, while Carrie got five. The fan-voted, all-genre awards show, honors the &ldquo;world&rsquo;s bestselling recording artists,&rdquo; and is determined by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). The show will broadcast to North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Japan, China, other parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand and all of Africa - reaching an estimated worldwide audience of around one billion viewers in over 160 countries. She proved that during her concert in Des Moines, Iowa, after losing her voice, but powering through a 90-minute set. The singer admits that singing her heart out is the most important aspect of her show. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s my first and foremost &ndash; obviously everything I do is one-thousand percent live.
