3. Will Idol Judges Perform?

<span style="font-size: small;">The competition is quite intense on FOX’s American Idol, as the show is getting closer to its next winner. Phillip Phillips and Bon Jovi recently performed, which helped the rest of the world forget about the stressful live results for a few minutes. But, don’t hold your breath if you plan on seeing the Idol judges’ perform this season. Keith Urban believes he is the only one interested! “We got asked that early on in one of the press conferences early on- would we be up for singing. And I threw my hand up and said, ‘I’m up for it lets go.’ It was met with an arousing silence, but I’m going to keep poking at Randy [Jackson] to see if we can put a little band together – because I would love to do it! I think it would be fun and I think it would feel quite natural for us.” Find out who stays, and who goes home on FOX.

  7. Bon Jovi Gives Snowbound Fans Free Concert

<span style="font-size: small;">Bon Jovi isn’t going to let a little thing like a blizzard spoil things for their fans. The New Jersey rockers were supposed to kick off their North American tour at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut Saturday, but were forced to cancel the show when the state issued a mandatory travel ban due to bad weather. But according the band’s website, they played anyway. The rockers treated employees and fans who were already at the casino to a free 2-hour show. “Bon Jovi recognizes how much preparation it takes for fans to attend a concert and they wanted to honor that the best way that they know how," they said in a statement. The cancelled concert has been rescheduled for October 25th.

  19. Def Leppard Still At War With Former Label

<span style="font-size: small;">Frontman Joe Elliott says Def Leppard’s former record label, Universal, should treat the band with more respect because “we built their penthouse sushi bar”. Leppard are re-recording as much of their back catalog as possible after failing to reach an agreement with Universal over digital releases. And last month the band cut five acoustic songs performed during their Rock Of Ages tour for a medley released to iTunes. “We’re trying to wrestle back our career and ownership of these songs,” said Elliott in an interview in the latest issue of Classic Rock. “They [Universal] own the originals, we’re at loggerheads with them over the digital rights. And as long as they’re playing silly buggers we’ll just keep recording them again.” The singer continued: “Until we can come to some kind of humane conclusion to this ridiculous stand-off, we’re going to say: ‘F*** you!’ Elliott said Universal wouldn’t be the major player it is today without the help of Leppard’s multi-million-selling releases. “Between us and Bon Jovi we f****** built that company,” he insisted.
