    Shania Twain and John Mayer are among the latest additions to the Academy of Country Music Awards show set for Sunday (4/7). Twain will present an award, and Mayer will perform with Brad Paisley. Other presenters announced Friday include Gary Allan, Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young and the Eli Young Band. Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will host the awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It airs live at 8PMon CBS.

  2. Blake And Luke ACM Award Promos

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The new promos for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, proves that Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan have plenty of jokes up their sleeve. The two co-hosts appear in a new commercial where Luke tells Blake, &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t you get it?   3. 2013 ACM Awards Nominees Announced

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">The nominees for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards are out! Eric Church leads with seven nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for Chief. Hunter Hayes picked up six nods, including Song of the Year and Single of the Year for his smash hit &ldquo;Wanted.&rdquo; Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer and Florida Georgia Line are nominees for the fan-voted New Artist of the Yearcategory. First-time ACM nominee Kacey Musgraves makes her mark on the list with four nominations, including Female Vocalist of the Year. Florida Georgia Line is another newcomer to the ACMs, earning three nods. </span>

Luke looks forward to letting loose and playing new music for fans. &ldquo;That&rsquo;s the fun thing about getting to do the Spring Break album is me getting down there. You know what, this whole Spring Break album I just started from writing music without parameters. Spring Break, you know if we want to drop a little cuss word in there or something we don&rsquo;t sweat it.   8. TRACE AKDINS MISPRONOUNCED MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEYS NAME?

    Trace Adkins&rsquo; new film The Lincoln Lawyer hits theaters today.&nbsp; The country singer plays &ldquo;Eddie Vogel,&rdquo; the ruthless leader of a California biker gang, and stars alongside A-list actor and country-music fan Matthew McConaughey.&nbsp; Trace and Matthew were the best of friends on the set, but according to Trace, their first meeting back in 2010 was a little less than stellar. &ldquo;I met Matthew at the Academy of Country Music Awards last year.&nbsp; And I&rsquo;d just finished this album that&rsquo;s out now, and I gave him a copy of it and said, &lsquo;Listen to track&rsquo;&mdash;whatever, I can&rsquo;t remember now&mdash;I said, &lsquo;You&rsquo;re name&rsquo;s in that song.&rsquo;&nbsp; So when I got this part in this movie, and I walked on the set, he walked up to me and said, &lsquo;You mispronounced my name in that song.&rsquo; It was an &lsquo;e&rsquo; rhyme, man, I had to say &lsquo;McConaug-hee&rsquo;.&nbsp; It didn&rsquo;t rhyme.&nbsp; So, sorry about that...&rdquo;&nbsp; The Lincoln Lawyer also stars Academy-award winner Marisa Tomei and Ryan Phillipe.&nbsp;

    Darius Rucker and 25 participants in last year's <em>ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp</em> program will perform &quot;Music From the Heart" during a special segment of the 46th annual <em>Academy of Country Music Awards</em> show taking place Sunday in Las Vegas. The music camp, one of the <em>ACM</em>'s charitable endeavors, is attended by young people with developmental disabilities.
