5. 'Kings of Summer': Runaways find haven in life in the woods ★★★

"The Kings of Summer" is a coming-of-age story that keeps its humor as dry as the sunbaked days of its teen rebellion.

  11. 'Breakfast Club': How a talky teen film became a classic

I was in 7th grade when "The Breakfast Club" opened in theaters, and I distinctly remember thinking the movie was totally right about everything. I wasn't in high school yet (and that was surely one of movie's allures; a peek in a world I would soon enter), but at 13, I had suddenly become aware of all those weird anxieties, indignities and nuances that define the lives of adolescents, and they were all right there on the screen. Perceived slights as far as the eye can see. Rigid-seeming social circles. Parents who just don't understand. If only people knew the real me.

  21. Robert Redford on aging: 'Don't you think I'm attractive?'

In “The Company You Keep,” the new film directed by Robert Redford, the Oscar winner also stars as a onetime political radical who has lived for decades as a fugitive from justice under a false identity. 23. Robert Redford's 'new territory' with 'Captain America' sequel

Though Robert Redford may be the very platonic ideal of a movie star -- a matinee idol from films such as "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Sting," "The Way We Were," "The Electric Horseman" and "Out of Africa" -- he has of late been involved with smaller-scale, socially conscious dramas. So many were surprised last week by the news that Redford would be appearing in the Marvel Studios comic-book action sequel "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" as a senior leader in the secret government agency of S.H.I.E.L.D.
