  1. John Rich Gets Reality Show

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Blake Shelton isn&rsquo;t the only country singer starring on a singing competition show &ndash; John Rich has been cast for the new CW series The Star Next Door. Queen Latifah serves as the executive producer of the show and Gloria Estefan has also been cast a mentor. The show is said to be different from other singing competitions since mentors will &ldquo;travel to the talent&rdquo; and &ldquo;immerse themselves in the lives and towns of the local performers.&rdquo;More mentors will be revealed in the upcoming months, and the show is set to premier this summer.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Big &amp; Rich are traveling across the country on their Xtreme Muzik tour and are having so much fun, it sounds like their reunion will also result in new music. The award-winning duo of Big Kenny and John Rich agreed to do the tour with a little encouragement from fellow headliner Gretchen Wilson, after spending the last few years on a self-imposed hiatus, while Big Kenny recovered from back surgery and both men pursued solo careers. But while the two, who never officially ended their partnership, are happy to be sharing the stage again, they hadn't publicly committed to doing another album together -- until now.</span>

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">This year marks the triumphant return of the multi-platinum duo Big and Rich. Their current release, &lsquo;Fake I.D.,&rsquo; is their first new single in over three years to impact country radio.     Big &amp; Rich premieres the music video for their new single &ldquo;Fake ID&rdquo; today. The song is included in the remake of <em>Footloose</em> starring Julianne Hough, which hits theaters October 14<sup>th</sup>. John Rich reveals the music video puts him and Big Kenny right in the middle of the movie.&nbsp; <em>&ldquo;The way we shot the video, it&rsquo;s shot as if Big &amp; Rich and Gretchen are in the club playing with Julianne Hough down on the floor dancin&rsquo; and you know, I&rsquo;m giving away a little secret there but that&rsquo;s OK &lsquo;cause when you see it you&rsquo;ll go, &lsquo;Wow!&rsquo; I mean, it really looks like we&rsquo;re in the movie.   5. John Rich's Team Wins Again

    Teams <em>Backbone</em> and <em>A.S.A.P.</em> were tasked with producing a TV commercial for <em>ACN</em> video phones on Sunday&rsquo;s episode of the <em>NBC</em> series <em>Celebrity Apprentice</em>. Rapper Lil Jon lead the men&rsquo;s team on an out-of-the-box concept that some thought would be too risqu&eacute;. Their commercial featured grandparents who call their son in Argentina and are introduced via the video phone to their grandson&rsquo;s fianc&eacute;, another man, played by Jos&eacute; Canseco. The women&rsquo;s spot had a young girl studying abroad, calling home to her parents in the U.S. and introducing her deaf mother to her &ldquo;host mother&rdquo; played by Dionne Warwick. After the commercials were presented to over 400 ACN executives, the audience picked the men&rsquo;s creation as their favorite in a close vote. In the board room, when Donald<strong> </strong>Trump asked Dionne who should be fired, she said, <em>&ldquo;fire me,&rdquo;</em> which Trump ultimately did. With the men winning a third week in a row, Lil Jon picked up 40-thousand dollars for his charity, the <em>United Methodist Children&rsquo;s Home</em>.

  6. John Rich Heads To Apprentice Finals!

    <span style=&quot;line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial', 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;">John Rich</span><span style="line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 14pt;"> and Marlee Matlin are going head to head as the <em>Celebrity Apprentice</em> finalists. After a brief celebration between the top two on Sunday night&rsquo;s episode, Donald Trump was quick to deliver their final task, create a campaign for <em>7UP Retro</em>. John and Marlee were allowed to pick from a selection of former <em>Apprentice </em>finalists from this season to create their team. Marlee picked Meat Loaf, Richard Hatch and La Toya Jackson for her team, while John Rich chose Lil Jon, Star Jones and Mark McGrath. The teams went straight to work designing a can and producing their commercials. John is serious about winning, with a lot of money on the line for his charity.&nbsp;<em> &ldquo;I mean, this is a crazy, crazy show and the reason I want to have a shot at winning it is &lsquo;cause you get 250-thousand more dollars for your charity if you win. Being able to play for St. Jude is&hellip;I don&rsquo;t know that I&rsquo;ve ever done anything better in my life. Really proud to be that ambassador and be the guy sluggin&rsquo; it out for them.&rdquo;</em> Next week, the teams present their campaigns to the <em>7UP </em>executives and a winner will be revealed during a live board-room finale. <em>Celebrity Apprentice</em> airs Sunday night at 9PM Eastern on <em>NBC</em>.</span>
