    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Hunter Hayes left his impression on Carrie Underwood as her opening act on the Blown Away tour this year. He told reporters backstage at the CMA Awards that he&rsquo;s flattered Carrie asked him to join her again for the second leg of the tour, kicking off next year. (Audio) &ldquo;The crowds have been really cool. They&rsquo;re showing up early. You know, and as an opening act it means a lot. And it&rsquo;s really cool to be like direct support, you know, be right in front of Carrie and to get that slot and for her to say that I&rsquo;m sort of worthy of that slot...it&rsquo;s awesome and it&rsquo;s really cool for her to say, &lsquo;Hey, come back out next year! We&rsquo;re doing some more.&rsquo;&rdquo; Hunter captured his first CMA win last week with the New Artist of the Year award.     <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Jake Owen revealed some exciting news while walking the red carpet at the CMA Awards. Jake and his wife Lacey told E! News they will be naming their daughter Pearl. Jake said the name was a tribute to his Godmother who passed away in July, and he calls her &ldquo;the angel of his life.&rdquo; Jake even has her name tattooed on the inside of his left wrist. Jake and Lacey are expecting Pearl&rsquo;s arrival sometime this month.</span>

  3. Brad And Carrie Talk CMA Awards

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are set to host the CMA Awards for the fifth time. The duo says their chemistry on stage reflects their real-life friendship. &ldquo;[Carrie] He&rsquo;s just a great guy. He&rsquo;s like the big brother I never had and we really do get along very well. We have kind of the same type of humor. [Brad] We have a great time. She is the best co-host I could ever ask for and really it&rsquo;s a great combination. You can tell I think that we have a good time with it.&rdquo; No country artist is safe when it comes to the jokes Brad and Carrie have become known for on the show. Carrie tells us there&rsquo;s lots of material to work with this year and there&rsquo;s no doubt the presidential election will come up a time or two. Watch the 46thAnnual CMA Awards tonight beginning at 8PM Eastern on ABC. Carrie will also juggle a performance on tonight&rsquo;s CMA Awards.   5. Country Stars Celebrate Halloween

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">It&rsquo;s that time of year again where country artists enjoy the Halloween spirit. A lot of them will enjoy a night filled with family and friends. Taylor Swift has a big week ahead of her with the CMA Awards. She admits that she hasn&rsquo;t even had time to plan her Halloween festivities, but last year&rsquo;s celebration was quite memorable.&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know what I&rsquo;m going to be doing for Halloween. All I remember about Halloween last year is that it&rsquo;s when I bought my cat. She&rsquo;s a Halloween cat. I didn&rsquo;t really dress up for anything last year - I just went out and bought a kitten.&rdquo; Carrie Underwood loves Halloween &ndash; and it&rsquo;s one of her favorite reasons to have a celebration. She hopes to catch up with a few friends. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll actually probably stop by a Halloween party if I have a little time. Everybody dresses up and it&rsquo;s kind of a big deal. I have a couple of friends that Halloween is their favorite holiday as well. So it&rsquo;s fun to get silly.&rdquo; Luke Bryan is excited to spend Halloween with his sons, Bo and Tate. He&rsquo;s even looking forward to learning a little bit more about his neighbors &ndash; with the help of trick-or-treating. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re looking forward to trick-or-treating, and doing it in our neighborhood. You can find out a lot about your neighbors by what kind of candy they put out. So, well, like full bars of Snickers bars, that&rsquo;s what, and Reese&rsquo;s cups, [but] the old chocolate popcorn ball of stuff, that&rsquo;s no good either, like Dots &ndash; you get Dots one time of year and they pull your teeth.&rdquo;</span>

    <span>The stars of &ldquo;Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars&rdquo; were given artistic control of their dances last night and asked to re-invent iconic routines from past shows. When the night ended, actress Kelly Monaco and TV personality Melissa Rycroft were tied for first place, each having received 27 out of a possible 30 points for their respective routines. TV personality Bristol Palin brought up the rear with 22.5 points. Two all-star participants will be voted off tonight. Paula Abdul will be a guest judge next week. Also next week, the All-Stars will pick the dance styles for each other, including some new styles that have never been performed on the show. "Oh goodness, for me, I didn&rsquo;t know what a co-host was supposed to do.
