    <strong>Keith Urban</strong> is the last judge standing from this past season of <em>American Idol</em>, so will he return to the <em>FOX</em> show? The singer and his wife, <strong>Nicole Kidman</strong>, walked the <em>CMT Music Awards</em> purple carpet, and revealed to <em>E! News</em> what he knew about the status of the show. Keith has &ldquo;no idea,&rdquo; and jokes, &ldquo;You probably know as much as I do!&rdquo; Nicole added that she loved seeing her husband on the show. She thinks &ldquo;he's really, really good at doing something like that.&rdquo; But she is glad &ldquo;he's back to his music now, though!&rdquo; Keith just released his new single, &ldquo;Little Bit of Everthing,&rdquo; which he performed during Wednesday&rsquo;s (6/5) <em>CMT Music Awards</em>.

  2. Darius Rucker Album Debuts At #1

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Darius Rucker&rsquo;s True Believers album is his third consecutive country record to debut at #1 on the Billboard charts. The album includes his two-week #1 smash &ldquo;Wagon Wheel&rdquo; among other songs Darius says are authentically him. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s Darius Rucker being country and it&rsquo;s really, that&rsquo;s the...I mean, songs are important to me, so it&rsquo;s Darius Rucker doing the best country songs he could find at that time.&rdquo; Darius is set to perform on the 2013 CMT Music Awards on June 5th on CMT and CMT.com. You can also catch him on the road this summer on his True Believers Tour.&nbsp; In related news, Darius will be joined by Luke Bryan, Dustin Lynch, Justin Moore, Randy Houser and others during his fourth annual Darius and Friends concert taking place Monday (6/3) at Nashville&rsquo;s Wildhorse Saloon. Sam Bush, John Cowan and Radney Foster will also perform during the sold-out event to benefit St. Jude Children&rsquo;s Research Hospital.     <span style=&quot;font-size: small;">Carrie Underwood celebrates winning the big award of the night at the 2013 CMT Music Awards.   4. George Strait's Father Dies at age 91

    <span style=&quot;font-size: small;"><strong>George Strait</strong>&rsquo;s father died Tuesday (6/4) at age 91 following a lengthy illness. <strong>John Byron Strait</strong> had been hospitalized for almost a month. George Strait performed the last concert of his <em>2013 The Cowboy Rides Away</em> tour Saturday at the <em>Alamodome</em> in San Antonio but canceled his Wednesday night appearance on the <em>CMT Music Awards</em> in Nashville. His father was a junior high school mathematics teacher, as well as a rancher on his property near Big Wells, Texas. The family worked at the ranch on the weekends and in the summers. In addition to his son, he is survived by his wife <strong>Anna</strong>, daughter <strong>Pency Edel</strong> and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. <em>&ldquo;We are grateful for the time over the last few weeks we were able to spend with Daddy before he passed away,&rdquo;</em> George Strait said in a prepared statement. <em>&ldquo;I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this difficult time as we mourn our family&rsquo;s loss.&rdquo; </em>The funeral service will be private, reserved for friends and family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the <em>Jenifer Strait Memorial Foundation</em>.</span>
