    With gardening season winding down I thought I'd share a bit about my gardening background. In past articles I have expressed my opinion, formed after seriously studying gardening and horticulture over the past nine years. I don't have a horticulture degree, but have recorded almost 500 hours of continuing horticulture and environmental education in the MSU Advanced Master Gardener Program.
