    Students at Lancaster's JP McCaskey High School were treated to a classical guitar concert on Thursday.  It was a preview of what's to come at this weekend's Lancaster Guitar Festival.  Paul Morton and Matt Bacon, both graduates of The Pennsylvania Academy of Music, which just announced it's shutting down, are among the artists to perform.

  5. Lancaster County Mother, 2 Children Trapped in SUV by Downed Live Wires along Marietta Avenue

    High winds caused widespread damage and poweroutages throughout the area Friday afternoon. Lancaster County was hardest hit with over 6500 PPL customers without power at one point during the day. That number was down to less than a thousand by 6 pm.  A mother and her two children avoided injury when a tree limb brought down live powerlines onto their SUV as the family was travelling on Marietta Avenue between Wilson Drive and School Lane. They were trapped inside the SUV for more than hour.
