This left the controversial website blocked off from accepting online donations — a state of affairs that did not sit well with members of the sprawling Internet activist group known as Anonymous, which let its collective displeasure be known when it launched brief (but attention-getting) disruptions affecting each company's website.     The Chicago Public Library and the Chicago Public Library Foundation hosted the 13th annual Carl Sandburg Literary Awards dinner at the UIC Forum on Oct. 17. Emcee Bill Kurtis introduced more than 65 noted authors, all with ties to Chicago, to the crowd of 700.     For the 48th Chicago International Film Festival's opening night Oct. 11, attendees were treated to a star-filled red carpet at the Harris Theater that included Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Alan Arkin and Jon Bon Jovi. Academy Award-winning producer Tom Rosenberg brought his film &quot;Stand Up Guys" to Chicago for its world premiere, and festival founder Michael Kutza couldn't have been happier.
